Somersault Film the Open Innovation Summit at the Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst

We recently captured all of the events from the second annual Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst Open Innovation Summit. Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst campus is a unique bioscience community created to provide small life sciences companies and biotech start-ups with access to the expertise, networks and scientific facilities traditionally associated with multinational pharmaceutical companies. This is the second year that SBC have run the event, the theme this year being ‚ÄòThe Future‚Äô. Delegates were asked to think about what will characterise bioscience in the 21st century and how it will develop. Dr. Clare O‚ÄôNeill from Original Ventures, explained why the event is such an important date in the calendar:

“The Open Innovation Summit is all about getting the whole bioscience community to use their collective intelligence as well as their individual achievements. It’s about sharing knowledge and ideas to make sure we all achieve more.”

Somersault covered all of the panel discussions with two cameras as well as capturing interviews and general visuals throughout the day for a highlights video, all of which were delivered within two weeks of the event. Miranda Knaggs, Sales Marketing and Events Manager for Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst commented:

“I have shown the highlights video to a select number of people including board members and they are very pleased with the results. You captured ‘the buzz’ very well!”

The videos produced by Somersault will be distributed on the SBC website, YouTube channel and an online portal specifically aimed at the bioscience community. Take a look at the video above to see the highlights of the day!
