The challenge.

In the last 24 months, we’ve seen more change in how Clients and Audiences engage with digital content and events than anytime in the last decade. Face to face has increasingly become screen to screen, with B2B buyers and influencers demanding more consumer like experiences in the middle of this profound transformation.

More than 30% of B2B Technology Buyers say digital engagement channels have become more important in their buying journeys (source: Forrester), and if there’s one headline to share with you it’s how we can bring experience and insights that help you, your partners and audiences to move from ‘making do’ towards  ‘making a difference’ when it comes to online events and experiences across the prospect and customer journey.

We've all had to adjust but we consider ourselves fortunate to have had the advantage of harnessing the technologies and production approach from creating video content, leading to Somersault planning, creating, broadcasting and live streaming many Virtual Events both remotely and from our own unique studio space. They may appear easy to set up and run on the surface, but very few have learnt how to do them well. Somersault knows the anatomy of such events and how best to leverage those critical screen to screen moments that are so important to B2B relationships, whether that's a gathering of a small number of influential decision makers or the coming together of thousands.

The work.

We manage, host and broadcast the hybrid quarterly recognition galas for Lifeplus, with multiple simultaneous interpreters, where thousands of Associates across Europe connect and engage in real time. A combination of pre-records and live streams have included live music, cocktail making, sushi recipes and even a live circus performance.

Somersault's in-house live events team and unique studio space has also hosted virtual events for Cambridge Building Society and Think! Sponsorship, with presenters from Toyota, Vodafone and Virgin.


Condeco asked Somersault to ensure that their 500 strong global workforce were all briefed on its new brand platform and creative vehicle prior to launch. Not with a simple email or webinar briefing, but the biggest virtual event that the business had ever produced. Conceived, created and broadcast live by Somersault’s in-house live and virtual events team, We pre-recorded C-suite presentations in front of green screens in New York and London, then edited to create a seamless experience that was followed by a live Q&A session.

Somersault has also developed high profile events content that has been used to engage audiences at London Tech Week, DSEI, COP26 and Re:Invent, the flagship AWS event in Las Vegas.

The outcome.

Every Client has seen increased event engagement and audience retention. The majority have also seen incremental uplift to sales.

And on the back sharing such success stories as part of a competitive pitch process, Somersault has recently been appointed as lead Events and Content Agency for the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, hosting a series of Hybrid Summits and Demo Day Events. We are fascinated how the future of events and experiences will pan-out and lean towards Gartner's prediction that Hybrid Experiences may take precedence. Gartner suggests that by 2023, some 60% of companies that pivoted to virtual events will incorporate real time / real space elements into marketing experiences. And that's exactly what we're doing for the majority of Clients already.
