In the midst of lockdown #2, a story of how Cambridge based Bubble Software decided to explore a new corporate video to drive and convert website visitors during lockdown #1, when choices were somewhat limited with the restrictions imposed.
Faced with a challenge of how to showcase the benefits of the Bubble Software product and unlock a key new source of customers, Head of Marketing Mark Illman reached out to Sawston based B2B Technology and Communications Agency, Somersault seeking a content creation solution.
Within a week of picking up the phone, Somersault were appointed and their Covid-Secure safe shoot studio facility was developed to hold two sets. A before and after Bubble scenario, using two actors in a 12 hour filming day. With social distancing restrictions in place, Bubble stakeholders were able to view, feedback and approve remotely via a live stream. The film was edited and delivered during lockdown, on time, on budget, capturing all still and moving image content required for the campaign.
Since launch the videos have had critical impact during the lockdown period, a time when many businesses have struggled. The videos have increased channel views and watch time in the UK, Europe and USA. They are also driving new engagement for Bubble Software’s Business Development team from both existing customers and new prospects.
