24 Days Later…no, it’s not the start of a zombie apocalypse film – but it did mark the completion of our first project for Tes for their presence at EduTECH Sydney 25, Australia’s leading education technology event.
Tes approached us with an ambitious brief and needed engaging video content communicating their Business Mission and Technology Vision, suitable for a busy exhibition environment and beyond.
Shaping a Cohesive Story
Initially, Tes planned separate elements: a transition video, product demonstrations, and an introductory segment for the Australian audience. Recognising an opportunity for greater impact, we unified these pieces into a connected narrative. This approach linked Tes’s overarching Business Mission directly with their Technology Vision and demonstrated practical benefits for schools.
We structured the project into three clear streams:
- Business Mission Story: Clearly articulating Tes’s core purpose and values.
- Technology Vision Story: Demonstrating how Tes’s innovations enhance education.
- Product Animations: Highlighting real-world classroom benefits succinctly and effectively.
Authentic Voices, Clear Impact
Capturing genuine conversations with Tes’s CEO, Rod Williams and CTO, Carl Martin, provided authenticity and credibility. We adapted Carl’s extensive 28-minute technical overview into concise visuals suitable for the noisy, busy exhibition setting. These visuals conveyed complex ideas in a way that resonated with educators.
The product animations showcased clear, real-world benefits: simplified timetabling, effective learning pathways, and improved classroom experiences.
EduTECH Success
At EduTECH Sydney, Tes’s content captured attention, engaged visitors, and initiated meaningful discussions about education technology.

This project wasn’t merely event-focused content; discussions are already underway about repurposing and evolving these videos into ongoing, evergreen assets.
Thankfully, no zombies attended EduTECH 25 Sydney – but Tes’s content undoubtedly brought the event to life.
